For nearly 60 years, the Hannibal Jaycees carried out one of Hannibal’s landmark annual events: the spectacular 4th of July fireworks display on the riverfront. In the fall of 2011, the Jaycees made a decision to hand over responsibility for the fundraising and execution of the fireworks display to the City of Hannibal; thus, the Hannibal Community Promotions Group was born.
We are a not-for-profit organization made up of volunteers from many local businesses and service clubs, including the Hannibal Y Men’s Club, THE Hannibal Jaycees, Hannibal Kiwanis and lions club.
